Business plans for startups
Semester-long offer of the Startup Center Tübingen from April 12 onwards
The event series is primarily aimed at students of the University of Tübingen. However, free places will also be allocated to people from the Cyber Valley ecosystem. Please register if you are interested.
This course addresses the steps to found a startup and the creation of a business plan. The target group is students who want to found their own startup or who want to learn the basics of founding a company in a hands-on seminar.
The course brings together potential founders who provide their startup idea with students who advise the future founders in an interactive course.
When: Wednesdays from 8-12, some Saturdays.
Procedure
After introduction, first pitch by founders and kickoff, short presentations by students presenting a new aspect of business creation and online feedback sessions with the instructor are held every 14 days in alternation.
After each short presentation, there is an opportunity for Q&As and feedback from all participants. Approximately 20 minutes should be scheduled every two weeks for feedback from the instructor. Teams are expected to integrate the suggestions into their business plan, which they submit at the end of the course.
After the presentations, students will work on the newly presented topic and discuss how to implement their ideas in the business plan as well as prepare a new short presentation for the upcoming session.
